....These soldiers kept telling us how much a care package from the States meant to them and what joy it brought them to know someone was thinking about them. Thanks for all you do!

I just wanted to let you know that my son, Jeremiah, DID get the cookies. He was so surprised! What a blessing. :)

He will be redeployed to Afghanistan in about a month and I will get you his new address. I know he will share any cookies that you send.

Thanks again for your thoughtfulness. It is much appreciated!

Thank you so much! We got back yesterday morning and the cookies were waiting for us. What an awesome surprise. We immediately sent two men over to the chow hall to get milk. The shelf stabilized milk never tasted so good. We can't thank you enough for thinking of us.

THANK YOU!!!

My unit recently received a care package which contained your “Hugs from Granny Cookies Convoy” cookies. I have to say your company makes the best cookies I have ever tasted. Don’t tell my wife. Please tell me where we can get our hands on more of these. Once again, thank you for keeping us in your thoughts. This is my third rotation to the middle East and you will never know how much your support gets us through the days.

Sincerely, CW4 Philip J. Dias Safety Officer, C-12 Detachment Aviation Task Force- Kuwait

Please accept my personal thanks for supporting the troops with "Hugs from Grammy Cookie Convoy." Yesterday, my office received a box of chocolate chip cookies accompanied by wonderful messages of encouragement from Makena, Sherry, Joyce, Amy, and Chanel. Knowing we're supported by our fellow citizens is very meaningful. Thank you again for supporting our troops, especially this time of year.

Sincerely,

Marlene, you are one special lady. 90,000 cookies....put it in perspective...one for every 1.67 troops in Iraq...and there's plenty of each cookie to go around. A meal on its own. Merry Christmas. God Bless you and I am definitely going to enjoy this Christmas at home with my wife and kids.

I just got a chance to talk to Todd’s best friend Sgt. Michael Hochberg. He got the cookies! I KNOW how excited he was. It brought chills and tears to me knowing how YOU and all of those that helped you with your “soldier project” gave Michael that sense of feeling special, especially since he is missing his kids and wife so badly. With Christmas coming, you gave him that “hug” he so badly needed, not to mention all of the others he shared with. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I haven’t heard word from Justin or my nephew George to find out if they received anything, but I will let you know if they did. My sincerest thank you….You are an angel to all of those you touch. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays to you and your family.

Here in downtown Baghdad it has been between 70 to 90 degrees most days. It will ocassionally pop upto a 100. I know those days are around the corner and the low will be in the 90s at night.

Again, thanks for everything.
